Sawdah named after the noble Mother of the Believers, Sawdah bint Zam'ah رضي الله عنها, strives to embody the modesty, piety, and steadfastness exemplified by the wives of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Our mission is firmly rooted in the Qur'anic guidance: "O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks all over their bodies. That will be better, that they should be known so as not to be annoyed. And Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (33:59)
Every garment we craft, with the skilled hands of artisans in the heart of Egypt, is a means to fulfill this divine command. We adhere strictly to the way of the Salaf as-Salih, rejecting innovations in religion and clinging to the pure teachings of Islam.
By choosing Sawdah, you are not merely covering your awrah; you are embracing a legacy of modesty that traces back to the best of generations.
Our garments are designed as a shield of haya, a form of ibadah, and a practical implementation of the hadith: "Modesty is a branch of faith" (Sahih Muslim).
We ask Allah سبØانه وتعالى to make our efforts a means of reviving the Sunnah, to forgive our shortcomings, and to make our work weigh heavily on the scales of good deeds on the Day of Judgment. May Allah clothe us all in the garment of taqwa in this life and in the hereafter.
اللهم آمين
